■ Fine metal wheel sets and drive and coupling rods made of cast metal
Originally, the class 50 locomotives were equipped with a bell. During the implementation of safety compliance measures, the bell was removed. Later, due to boiler replacements and conversions, locomotives with lower numbers were also found to be without bells.
