Brawa 2nd class passenger coach type Bmhe, DR. N scale.
Like the DB, the DR also struggled after the Second World War with the enormous maintenance costs for the outdated wooden compartment cars. Therefore, the decision was made at the Deutsche Reichsbahn to completely refurbish the subframes to a uniform length. In 1963, the first cars that were created according to this scheme were handed over to the DR by the Raw Halberstadt.
This process was soon abandoned due to the poor condition of the old, usable assemblies used. It was decided to build the wagons entirely from new components, and the newly developed "Görlitz V" bogie without axle holders was used as the running gear.
Information about the model:
- Exactly reproduced "Görlitz V" bogies
- Precisely fitted windows
- Interior painted in several colors
- Short coupling kinematics
- Car transition with separately applied rubber bead
- Prepared for interior lighting
- Printed window frames
- Alternator mounted separately on the bogie
On request, analog/digital interior lights can be installed.
